Endergators are the adolescent stage in an Endtroid's life cycle. They are half the height of an Enderman when standing on their hind legs, but since they do not have a good sense of balance, they normally walk on all fours, making them appear shorter than they actually are. They are mostly independent, but they still rely on the adults for protection and Shulker meat, and can no longer fly. Their tail has grown as long as it will be, and it will begin to shrink through the rest of its metamorphosis (unless it is a queen).

Female Endergators are able to teleport, but their Ender Pearls are not fully developed, so they suffer moderate wounds that can be dangerous if they are weakened, so they only use it to escape from a situation where there is no way out otherwise.

In this stage, Endergators' teeth are needlelike, a stark contrast to their previous forms' catlike teeth. As their teeth are now unfit for chewing, they cannot eat Chorus Fruit, and become exclusively carnivorous. They usually feed on Endermites, swiftly chasing them down and eating them whole. As they are not strong enough to open Shulkers or pull them out of their shells, they rely on stronger adult Endtroids to feed them Shulkers.

Like Endersaurs and Endermen, Endergators consider eye contact to be a threat, and will attack as soon as eye contact is made. They attack bipedal threats by biting their leg and violently shaking them, in a similar manner to crocodilians. They also occasionally hunt members of our research party for food, as humans cannot easily defend themselves like some of the larger fauna here can. Thankfully, they are fairly easy to dispatch and cannot cross over into our world.
