Another illustration for a short story written by my dear

In this chapter Hannah tries to wake up the Nicole at dawn. He is not a morning person and refuses to wake up, insisting that Hannah should let him be.
Some hours later, when he wakes up after a long rest, both Kaern and Hannah are long gone, ahd her father is rather unpleased with it. Without them, there is nothing to do and Nicole gets bored quickly. Time goes by slowly for him. Extremely slow in fact. At first he is displeased and quite annoyed that Hannah and her gryphon left him behind, but after a very long while, he gives in and starts to regret that he prefered to stay in the bed this morning. In his defence, the lad couldn’t predict just how boring and lonely the manor would be without them.
He wonders how lonely it was for Hannah before she befriended the bird.
