If you are a fan of the classic horror films of the 40’s and 50’s then you might find it fun to generate a couple of movie plots of the genre for yourself. I’ve written up a simple chart to help you die-roll the bare bones of such a story set-up.

Oh yes, and it's really fun to see how you put them together! TV tropes is a good site for listing various characters and plot devices, but be forewarned that, much like wikipedia, once you start on a topic you may find yourself, some hours later, staring at something else completely unrelated!
Thanks Lionus, I badly needed something to make me laugh right now. I had a couple, including knowing that the one person willing to go where angels fear to tread, so long as there is money, a scam or a sucker in the offering, is another fox entirely. I'm actually going to have to break out that set of dice I won at a gaming store, a while back, and really have some fun with this one.
Well I must confess that this Horror Movie Plot Generator was concocted by that <ahem> certain vulpine. He was going to use it to come up with the spines for the movies, then the rest of us "only" needed to work our fingers to the bone by "filling in the rest of the stuff" (i.e. dialogue) and he'd "set Hollywood on its ear with a stream of box-office money-makers".
We politely declined that "golden opportunity".
