( Figured I'd try do some things with this Hero Forge and created a character from long ago, originally inspired by The Contessa from Animalympics but she evolved into her own person eventually. This will probably be a temp ref untill I can commission a proper ref sheet.)

Erena was born into a noble family of eagle birdfolk from Venettiia but she was abandoned by her parents due to being born without wings which they though would bring shame to their family name. They dropped her off in the woods below the mountain with nothing but her egg shell remains, which would have meant either a slow death from starvation and cold or a quick snack for some wild beast. Fate had other plans in store for her as she was found the next morning by a wandering groups of bandits who fed her and brought her along seemingly intent on adopting the small chick, wether as a pet or food was uncertain but for now at least she was saved. She travelled with them for a few months and she was fairly well cared for during that time, but bandits being bandits they were always looking for some quick money so they sold her to a slaver caravan in order to save themselves when the slavers intended to capture the outlaws for their stock.

The next several years Erena served as a household slave but she was well taken care of as a bit of a curiosity to her owners, as eagle folk were a rarity as slaves and a wingless one was especially unique. She was named Cerena by her owners who treated her pretty well all things considered, they even gave her some basic education and allowed her access to their library in her meager spare time. She learned to read and write and play some musical instruments, albeit poorly, but it was enough to impress the household guests when she performed for their amusement. Slowly her owners started to grow bored of her when the novelty was wearing off and she was put back on mundane household tasks and forbidden to go to the library anymore. She became increasingly unhappy with this turn, more so because of how coldly she was being treated now rather than any physical abuse aimed at her it was the isolation that hurt her after being the center of attention. Fate intervened again at this point as one of the former guests inquired about her, wanting to buy her from them.

Her owners didn't need much convincing and caved almost right away at the first offer they were made and before she knew it she was on a closed carriage on her way to a new home. This is where she still lives today, the home of her new master and now her lord after being granted her freedom by him. When she arrived at her new home she started out as a household help but to her surprise she was allowed to study again with access to many books and the knowledge of the household staff. She learned several languages during the years, and was taken under the wing of the then current majordomo of the household and trained to be his successor. She was tought swordsmanship by her lord and became quite a formidable fighter, her greatest moment of pride was the day her lord gifted her her own custom made sword which she still carries to this day. She also became interested in gadgeteering and built her own musket which she improved over time to it's current model with it's stock carved out of a dragon bone and decorated with gold and a rose gold plated barrel and a pair or matching pistols. While rifles are rare due to unreliable accuracy they are still only used by skilled gadgeteers as mass production isn't easy and requires training to build and maintain them. Erena's are unique in that while they look like muzzle loaders they actually hold several rounds within a cartridge with a more powerful shot giving it longer range suited to her sharp eyesight.

Now that she is the new majordomo she has become even more loyal in her duties and she runs a tight ship, keeping track of every detail of what goes on in the household, some of the staff have jokingly started referring to her as "The Contessa" because of how strict and serious she takes her duty as if she was the owner of the household. She might just as well be that since she sees her lord as the father the never had, and he basically regards her as his daughter thanks to how loyal she has always been in serving him. She did eventually meet her real parents again when her lord went on a business trip to Venettia, but she denounced them as they had her all those years ago and made sure that they were left with a bad deal with her lord as a small revenge, though she would learn later that her lord had arranged the deal in such a way that her parents ended up publically shamed, to which ofcourse she publically objected but deep down she could care less about them as they are, and never were, a part of her life after abandoning her. At least fate, and her lord, had seen her potential and offered her a chance to reachfor it.
