"Freya is GIGANTIC DRAGON now! Freya will CRUSH THE STARS in her coils and eat the BIGGEST ROCKS! Freya's strength is that of a BILLION STARSHIPS and the GODS shall TREMBLE before her! YES!!! EHEHEHEE!!!" ~Freya

Felt like the resolution on this image was pretty intense lmfao, oh well!
So here we have Freya transformed into an absolutely gigantic dragon- or well, technically a serpent. She's "in theory" based off the Nidhogg just by bits and pieces though. No, she's more or less an all devouring, universe destroying, dragon and she just wanted to gush to her husband about it. I mean, of course he's going to be supportive in every way and shape and form. He doesn't mean to sound dismissive of course, just in his true maskless form? He can't really show much or any emotion in the slightest- or at least has a hard time doing such. He'll probably pet her under the chin in a few moments or something...Now, I wouldn't really say Freya would call herself a god, it's not in her nature. Although she will have no problem acting like a scourge of the realm.
How did she get this way? What did this to her?-- Well it obviously had something to do with Tia and thought it would be a "funny prank" to give her such overwhelming divine power. Besides Tia knows she'll burn all of her divine energy out anyways and revert back to her normal kobold self in no time. Although for now she gets to play a neat little trick on the locals of Materia, by absolutely scaring them to death. It's probably because Tia wasn't satisfied with her local daily offerings and needed to remind everyone to try harder. It also slightly explains why Freya is now talking about herself in third person. She's... Entirely lost it, but only ever so slightly as sometimes Freya's mood swings rapidly. From going absolutely off the wall to being extremely calm. Right now? She's definitely in her more "crazed" and "joking" state of mind.
Don't worry this transformation ain't going to last long and was more or less me testing some stuff out once again. Mostly my brain asking, "What mythological being would Freya be able to transform into if she was god-like?" and well... Here we are with this neat little illustration! She used to have gigantic horns and small little legs, but I decided it wasn't all that necessary and I felt it took away from Freya's original design. I wanted something different, and yet... familiar. Other than that? I don't got much to say! Have a wonderful day everyone!
Disclaimer and Copyright: These characters involved, and the artwork belongs to me, TwistedHensley. The Skin to Scales universe also belongs to me there, TwistedHensley... You get the drill. I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. There is no copyright infringement also intended to other forms of media as Skin to Scales is meant to be its own thing and something I've been working on for a very long time. This is the same setting where faith is a massive part of the magic system, and it is usually meant to have a very bright and colorful art style to help balance the tone.
