I realize how much grey, black, and muddy colors were in this comic pretty fast. My black and greyscale crayons were taking a BEATING by this point.
What's interesting is that, between these two characters we have the "correct" way to draw anthro rabbits, and the "incorrect" way. The male is correct, from the folds of his ears to the shape and make-up of his nose. The female, Celia, pretty much represents everything that is incorrect about drawing serious anthro rabbits. The pink button nose, the way her ears are done, and such. All wrong, compared to what rabbits REALLY look like. So, yes, that was deliberate, but also odd to look at when they are side by side. They're both rabbits, its easy to see, but they're very different in the artistic sense and it makes the comic look a little disjointed.
