As I put before, I'll try and make this one more quick as I have reviewed this when you posted it on Patreon. But, this is a great chapter. Love the introduction of all the other heroes. Plus I forgot one of them was Susie Tolston/Surge Star. Very cool to know Emerald Blaze's mother was there and also made the recommendation for going to get Shock Dragon. Also the Obsidian Empire coming in to the fray is awesome.
The capture scene with the hypnotizing of Shock Dragon was awesome and of course it was quite enthralling with Xartill at the helm. Even though I know his intentions are not good, I love Xartill's pseudo gentleness with Shock Dragon.
Emerald Blaze's and Basalt's interactions were great Park-Oar? Lol.
The fight scenes were awesome and I loved how Roderick Tolston's flames protect him from hellfire or at least that's what I think? Also Streamline/Cody Barnes coming in to help was very cool. Poor Xartill though when he was thrown. Wheeeeeee! Lol.
Buttons, however? Mystery there he has the book and can do magic huh? There is more to this housecat then meets the eye huh? Either way can't wait to keep going!

Aye, Surge Star is definitely one of the key players in the Vanguard! And in the story overall, more will come on that later.
The Obsidian Empire already has, heh. Though Xartill is rogue when it comes to them. Hence why his own empire is being built on slaves and hypnosis, and of course that means he's going to treat his servants more nicely when they're under his control.
