"Transformed by the sacrifice of the over-consumption of the "Eda Sap", this beast towers over all other Mandrakes who stand before her! The Mandrake Queen acts as a "cultivator" of the Mandrake Species, able to consume and refine Eda Sap into different variants so she may evolve and grow the various Mandrakes in their colony. However, this also takes a lot of nutrition to refine and produce this substance. A Mandrake Queen can be considered to be part of the "Hydra" family as it's long and dragon- serpent-like body *thing* will infinitely grow. If that wasn't unnerving enough it's also a powerful psychic and it has the vague facial features of what the Mandrake once was can be seen towards its dangerous beak-like mouth. I'm just glad the one we had around us for Izadore's research on the elixir of life was "friendly" so to speak as it... Somehow knew our language and I ensured that thing stayed far away from me!" ~Commander Proto
Going to be following the same theme as last time or my previous post on the mandrakes and that being about their seedlings! I'll leave everything pretty vague here, but I do thank you lads for reading! You're all truly wonderful! Until next time! Expect a lot of lore on mandrakes for a little while...
Disclaimer and Copyright: These characters involved, and the artwork belongs to me, TwistedHensley. The Skin to Scales universe also belongs to me there, TwistedHensley... You get the drill. I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. There is no copyright infringement intended to other forms of media as Skin to Scales is meant to be its own thing and something I've been working on for a very long time. That and this is also Cycle 9 and is the "Deep past of Skin to Scales" when the universe was in its very early stages. Thomza is without a memory of being a god, the mighty Tiamat rests in an almost eternal sleep, and many heroes are created during this time period. The gods are all resting as the mortals rise and the race for immortality and adventure has just begun!
(The font I used for my stuff is Cambria, and I usually edit these data-logs in MS Paint, I got a question about it and thought I would answer, but my main tool I use is SAI, but SAI doesn't have text in it to my knowledge so I gotta improvise.)
