Hobbies/Interests: Drawing/Painting, surfing, swimming, nature hikes, hanging out with friends, dancing, campfires at the beach, and fishing.

A bit of backstory: Malik grows up in a rather happy family. He has two sisters and his parents, all of which get along with one another. Malik is the youngest sibling in his family and tends to be treated as such, but it never bothers him. His family sees him as the optimistic type, always finding a bright side to things and finding the good in outcomes. Of course, he knows not everything has a good outcome, but that's why he helps out his family and friends when there is no good outcome. He always finds himself trying to make people smile, he enjoys making others laugh and enjoy themselves even if it's just for a moment during rough times.


Malik has a passion for art, it's a way to express himself and to make various pieces to make others happy. He takes a great deal of pride in his work, learning how to paint and taking classes on it and drawing. A lot of his pieces help him paint a story of what he wants to see, sometimes he does this to make himself feel relaxed and comfortable when things are rough. His passion for making artwork sets off the idea of wanting to make it a full-time job. As he got older he puts more effort into his work and take classes on learning more styles. He would take on commission work and draw up things for local businesses to get paid. He also took work as a part-time lifeguard and swimming instructor. Once more, these are things he really enjoys so he always finds it very fun.

During high school and into college, Malik becomes friends with Carlos, Roy, Duke, and Jason. He becomes pretty close with their gym teacher from high school, Oliver, who he sees as a really kind and father-like figure. Carlos and Roy are two people he really feels good around, the two always include him in things and hang out with him often. They are a perfect group that normally has Jason and Duke come along with them too. Along the meeting them, he made friends with Angelo and Gavin. Angelo is adopted by Myka. Malik and Angelo hang out together and he teaches Angelo how to paint and fish. He later meets Gavin, whom he met one day when visiting Angelo. He also asks Gavin about how to handle magic as Malik finds he can use it.

He starts showing his magical spark for magic around his early teenage years. He keeps it a secret from his parents as they do not have any kind of magic to them. With that being said, Malik starts practicing how to control his magic and how to use them. He got some help from his friends on the matter, especially from Gavin and Carlos who help him learn to control it. It's not before Malik becomes pretty good with his magical skills.

Overall, Malik has a lot of magic talent and is gifted in drawing and painting. He really enjoys the freedom of he can do work whenever and make his own times and rules. He feels happy being around friends who both share common interests and are able to understand his powers. His life is open and he looks forward to the fun times ahead. Even if there are rough times, he will push forward to better days.
