Panel 1: Thad is talking to Hearts. Thad has an overly smug and amused expression after having given the punchline of his joke. Hearts, meanwhile, is unemotive.

Thad: And that's when I said "That certainly was a twist!"

Hearts: I see.

Panel 2: Thad starts to look concerned after hearing Hearts' response. Hearts continues to look as unexpressive as she did in Panel 1.

Thad: That's all you have to say? Wait a sec. Are you depressed?

Hearts: No.

Panel 3: Thad does not look like he believes her. Hearts still shows no emotion.

Thad: Are you sure? You don't really seem that expressive, you're low energy, and all you're giving is one or two word responses.

Hearts: Interesting.
