Water suddenly surrounded Joe's head, making him fear drowning, before vanishing in his being.
Moe was seized by a cold beyond imagination, that vanished within him too.
As they recovered from the sensation, the two brothers exchanged glances.
"So..." began Joe with a smirk. "I think we should follow Dingodile's example, no?"
"I so agree," smirked back Moe as he broke and grabbed an icy stalactite.
Joe, him, put his hand under a trickle of water that came from a hole.
Dingodile told them, during a "demonstration" (aka, showing off), that he realized that he actually didn't absorb fire itself, but the elemental energy it contained.
And indeed, they could now feel this energy in the element they were touching.
And a simple thought of will was enough to begin absorbing it.
Barely a few seconds, and both brothers already saw and felt their muscles swell, stretching their clothes and beginning to rip through it.
"Damn, that's fast!" exclaimed Joe as his normally non-existent pecs protruded wider.
"And awesome!" exulted Moe, flexing a bulging biceps that tore his sleeve open.
A few more seconds, and the growing komodos burst out of their clothes, revealing bulks that were on the level of Tiny or Kong, leaving only the part around their waists intact to preserve their decency.
Joe and Moe reveled in their newfound mass and size, in how they were growing bigger, taller, stronger still, in how they were just getting started...
