The big reason I chose yesterday to debut Kass was because it was Pirate Weekend at the Arizona Renaissance Festival and what better time to have a large parrot roaming around playing “Drunken Sailor” on a concertina?
Most people just saw a parrot and that’s fine when it comes to video game cosplay. I had to laugh when I heard a little kid call me Rio since I totally forgot about that movie.
But there were a good number of people recognized Kass as Kass telling me how much they enjoy the Legend of Zelda. I even had one person plea “Why can’t you just tell me where the shrine’s at?”
