Awww… happy sad goodbyes… You can tell despite them clearly being happy… the noises like yip, whine, and rattle. The end of the page is filled mostly with whines… meaning they’ll miss eachother. Honestly those little tiny text noises are good context clues for how the characters are feeling. The noise I don’t fully get is the rattle? I’ve seen it used when they’re thinking but also sometimes as a kind of “back off” type thing. If anyone knows what it can fully mean or is used for that would be grand!
Good to hear it comes through!
Rattles are a versatile thing, mostly denoting focus, thought, pondering, etc. It can be thinking about what you want to eat at the resturaunt (in the middle of the forest of course) or it can be trying to think of a solution to a problem.
Back off is more of a hiss or snarl generally, growls too
