TF Short: Rachel’s Visit To Hammerlocke University

May 13th, 2016
Today is the first day at the new Hammerlocke University! Frank invited me and my companions here to help his team uncover the Zap Plate deep in the Lake of Outrage, and we came as soon as we could. In fact, we arrived just in time for their first attempt… which turned out to be their only attempt, as we managed to recover it without incident!
Sort of!
As I helped lift it out of the water, a passing Mantyke apparently decided the Plate was a bug and shot a Water Gun at it, soaking me and the plate and causing a magical chain reaction that… well, transformed me into a muscle gut anthro Luxray! What’s more, all my magic is now Electric-Type magic and everyone save Frank (who’s immune to magic) and my closest friends think I’ve always been a male Luxray magician with a huge muscle gut named Roger. Even physical documents have been tampered with (save my diary, which I managed to preserve with enough magic to fend off Ultra Beasts with) by the power.
That’s always the downside with Arceus’s Plates: any attempted tampering by anyone who isn’t a Legendary or using a LOT of magical protection gets their reality meddled with to ensure the Plates’ safety. That’s why I can’t touch the Plate anymore: I tried. Much to Aqua‘s disappointment, it looks like our trip to Galar will be longer than we expected.
Still, I can’t say looking like this is all bad. If I get to change back, I’m keeping this form for a future event.
