Bio: You can’t have a university without an art class, and Hammerlocke University is no exception! And who else to teach the art class than well known art lover Ezekiel Calciden?
Ezekiel is a unique person: he was a former Pokémon Ranger who didn’t know that his mother was in fact a Ditto taking a human form until the fateful day he touched a Zeroara and attained a very hefty anthro version of its form, as well as the capability of switching back and forth between the two forms at will.
(In all fairness, the last high profile showing of Ditto in human form had been in Alola several years prior to Ezekiel’s discovery of his origins.)
Zeke managed to make the most of it, using his newfound speed and weight to his advantage on missions as he gradually grew to spend most of his time in anthro form, viewing it as far more natural than his old human form and only being human where he had to be. It was during one of these missions that he found a new love for art after bringing down an art smuggling ring ran by one of the last remnants of Team Rocket. A few weeks after that, he started taking art classes and eventually became an art professor himself after retiring as a Ranger. Zeke wandered around from place to place until by odd chance he bumped into Chance Barkley, who set him up for an interview. It took some time, but he ultimately got the job due to his impressive credentials. It was, in fact, on his first month on the job where he was asked by his boss to appraise a certain crystal…
