They may look at it like they do for Lopin. Though with Lopin they get to play dress up and not a uniform.
The dyes should be safe since Yannit is around them a lot already but they may have to check about physical contact....
I had made a fursuit for a young woman that loved it but turned out to be allergic to actually touching all the lil polyester that gave up their lives for the fur.

oh sure sure
whilst I'm sure yannit's happy to wear nothing at all; seeing as her body doesn't apparently need the protection,
if she's gotta wear something, I feel like she'd really like to have something soft to feel with her antennae when she's idle
perhaps something that's scented too to give her head space some nice warm fuzzy vibes
or rather whatever buggy equivalent of that feeling which she enjoys

Congrats on page two hun…dree and twenty-eight xD
Really like her speech mannerisms, and it’s nice to see Kass acting so calm and confident like s/he feels they’re in control of the situation and things are as they should be^^
Also good of them to verify that Yan isn’t being harmed or made uncomfortable by what’s being done. Consent is always important in situations like this!

Kass plays dress-up with Yannit... For some reason seems more like something Ran would get up to. A scent pouch to help regulate Yannit's mood in the absence of the hive pheromone signature might be a good idea; could take then form of a scarf that can be wrapped up or allowed to dangle to regulate proximity of the scents to her face. For some reason I really want to see the gang in a more modern setting now; like, Vizlet running an orientation school to teach outsiders about Yinglet culture and in turn learn from others. Kinda curious about the younglet Kass helped hatch now too.
Hey gang! I'm back again to remind you that there's a place called "Top Web Comics" https://www.topwebcomics.com/?home=3 that compiles comics from various places. There's a bunch of cool stuff there. They have monthly votes, so you can support OOPs there. You can vote once a day per device, so your PC, laptop, tablet, phone, etc.
I've noticed that you can sometimes even get in extra votes from different IP addresses, or if you're disconnected from your IP and open up again later.
Oops closed out last month at I think 56th place and around 900 votes. It's currently at 22 votes and 41st place. The top vote getters seem to end up with something close to 20,000 votes.
Vote early, vote often! Help OOPs get noticed!

This reminds me of the moment Viracroix said the more Kass asks for, the more he’ll ask of Kass.
As much as I like Kass’ bout of confidence, I’m not sure what his rank entitles him to do and I don't think he knows either. Or he does?
For some reason in my mind, I imagine Kass doing what he sees needs to be done and getting a lot accomplished. Then, Viracroix shows up, sees what he’s done, then starts making huge demands from Kass. I don’t really believe that’ll happen, but I do wonder where he’s been all this time.

TBH Kass really doesn't work as a transgender metaphor in any way since her story arc is about being forced to conform to a body that doesn't belong to her with said conformity being framed as the right thing to do, instead of rebelling against a body she feels trapped in and getting to look the way she wants to despite all odds. Instead, her character arc so far is literally the exact opposite to that of a normal trans person. So, I don't know why that keyword keeps showing up.
In the furry TF world it's a common usage, probably at least partly because it's shorter. The tags "TF" and "TGTF" have been used commonly for years now. It represents a fictional idea, just like "TF" does, not a real world idea.
Kass's transformation isn't meant to be metaphorical for a real life human gender transformation. It's simply a transformation from a male human to a female yinglet. The situation doesn't really compare and wasn't meant to.
Beyond that, language is full of words with multiple meanings. It shouldn't be a problem.

What I'm worried about is people getting the wrong idea here and thinking that you advocate for trans people face-tanking dysphoria instead of transitioning. I know for myself that this comic is actually more about coping with disabilities (at least I'm pretty sure that's what you're going for) than the transgender experience but because of that keyword being there I'm not so sure if others will know.
If you've paid attention to this comic you'll find that Val has never done that, and it's never been implied.
As I mentioned above, TGTF fiction refers to entirely fictitious situations. It doesn't relate to RL transgender situations. Words frequently have more than one meaning. I really don't think anybody is confusing these things. You seem to me to be really reaching to read too much into it. Give people some credit.
It's also specifically "A story of inconvenient changes", as is said in the strip's header. They've never been implied to be about disabilities.

Sorry for such a belated reply, but please understand that the crux of my issue is with the fact that this comic seems to portray the process of Kass slowly losing her identity and sense of self to the instincts of her new body as a positive development and that has worrying implications to me.
No problem, thanks for replying at all.
While it's good to be sensitive to these things, I really don't think that Val has simplified it that much or steered it in that direction at all. Did you look at Kass's most recent journal, posted yesterday? That adds a lot of nuance to what he's been thinking.

Yes. You see, Val had me worried at first since what TF kink stories usually do is that they have the protagonist turn into a lesser/humiliating form and then either have them accept their new lot in life as worthless garbage or suffer a Death of the Ego and become a different person entirely. I happen to hate it when that happens because it's essentially framing the death of an identity as porn. But, it does seem like this comic is going much deeper and more nuanced than the standard fare. Yinglets are seemingly framed as being inferior to humans in every conceivable way at first, but the story appears to be slowly revealing how that isn't actually the case, and I look forward to seeing what happens.
