Well i guess king harold is one of the more famous persons to get arrow shot in the face.

Well i do but i can't think of either. Fernando Magalhaes(?) got spear into face and Karl XII of Sweden got cannon shrapnel (or silver cufflink.) Well the blind king of Czech got arrowed in battle of Crecy or Agincourt but in any case during Hundred Years war. BTW when have you English planned to make peace with France? Hundred years war is still going on, you only have a truce.

Wow. That is a rich history of headshots.
As for the Hundred Years' War, the last actual battle was in 1453, 557 years ago, so I think it's been unofficially called off. It was never really one war anyway, it was at least three, interspersed with a few decades of peace.

Oh i think there are many other headshots that i can't remember. How much time must pass to say war has died out? Both Koreas are still in war after 50 years of truce.

Different countries have different attitudes towards peace and war. Need I remind you that Britain and France were fairly united during the two World Wars? Considering the scale and recentness of those wars, I think they trump continental succession-agression of antiquity.

Of course i'm aware of that I'm also aware of that proposed Anglo-French state union during WW2. Still neglected paperwork can come to haunt you. Like with those who try to get Orkney independent because of unclear paperwork.

Well, if it hasn't come to pass now, then it isn't practically relevant. Maybe tomorrow it'll happen, but I somehow doubt it.

Well i can see it possible. Because Orkneys where only rented to Scotland and did that agreement pass onto Great Britain during Act of Union can be disbuted.

Well, we'll see how the Orkneyans (Orks?) feel about being Scottish, I suppose. Paperwork is only so much good against nearly 20,000 people if they set themselves firmly against it.

*chuckles* Orks... Well i highly doubt Orkneys will get independence but who knows... Anything is possible.
