Last chapter, Princess followed Chad to threaten him into keeping his distance. Don't worry, I'm sure there will be no repercussions to your rash actions. ...Darn it.
Okay, well, at least things seemed to work out fine? I mean, aside from the... Let's not worry about that, though. I mean, the chapter even gets to end on a bit of a happy note for once! Surely things aren't going to be bad now, right?
Also, someone has opinions about a certain author's fantasy novels. I had to stop myself from making that rant at least three times as long. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot in there that's good, but I couldn't even put the root of what bugged me into words until I had to as part of the dialogue. ^_^;;
Is the word count interesting? I don't know if people actually are interested in it. But this chapter is 6734 words, bringing the total for Book 2 to 26,846, and the total total to 131,657.

(Minor spoiler, chapter 20 (5447 words) will be the shortest at the time, barely, when it is posted, being 290 words less than the current shortest, Chapter 4's 5737 words. However, 19 and 20 will be posted as one update, and their combined length is 13,169 words, making that update quite a bit larger than the record-holder Chapter 3's 10,987 words.)
