It's been a while, and things are progressing pretty well. Previously, Princess finally laid her eggs, but now we actually get to meet the little ones! Other things happen too, of course.

This is a pretty ambitious moment for my silly little story series. The first 14 parts are a book's worth of story chapters, but now I'm entering into a massive story arc, one I've been planning for a long time. It's actually been intended to be part of the story from the beginning. Since I never knew how much I'd actually write, I'd been hesitant to get into it, but now I'm going to. So I present... the start of Book 2. I'm not sure if this arc will really last an entire novel length, but it feels like it probably will, even if it's not a full 100k words.

This chapter weighs in at 7013 words, or almost exactly 11 pages in PDF form. I had to end where I did because otherwise, I was probably going to end up with an entire book in one post because I wouldn't know where to end the chapters! I'm planning to make them a bit less "episodic" than previous chapters have been, and so that means sometimes it's gonna be cliffhangers. Like this time. Hopefully it'll help me not let so much time slip between chapters, I want to get back to writing at a better pace, perhaps at least weekly. I suppose we'll just have to see.
