The victorious team is ready to return home. They sure don't feel victorious, though. Master has had a pretty crappy... several days in a row, now, and tempers are frazzled. This chapter is pretty light on action, but they can't all be epic fight scenes, after all. Still, things are happening, and things are put in motion. Master Tola feels torn between his old life on Earth, and his new life on Terra. Which does he feel is his "real" life? Which would he choose, if given the choice? Not that it matters, he's stuck here on Terra. Will he come to see that as a good thing, or will he finally snap?

The Tax Collector shows up in this one, which is a thing I've wanted to have happen for a while now. And definitely before later events happen. It's been nearly a year now since Princess and Tola met, and that debt has been hanging over their heads. ...But the actual nitty-gritty of working out a payment plan is probably not worth showing "on camera", so don't be surprised if the next chapter takes place well after that. ^_^;; As it is, this chapter is 6799 words, putting the grand total to 104,811! And there's probably, like, at least twelve worth reading!

Yeah, there was a pretty heinous delay, huh? I should probably address that, but if I do, it'll probably happen in a journal, instead of here.
