I don't think he's dead, just passed out because of how much money he got (before when Christopher first visited, and now for Nora's freedom). But yeah considering Nora said her father got shanked right after solding her for as little as booze money, unless the boss have some paid security (which I doubt) or pay that rat douche's father for protection (which I also doubt, otherwise Nora wouldnt've be attacked) I give you a few more days at maximum, if he keeps flaunting that money around like he's obviously doing

Though..I'd hope Dahlia would possibly change clothes. Those heels are NOT meant for walking across terrain that's not flat

Well she seems to have a connection with Nora. Enough that she was only gonna put up with the job while she was there.

If it's classic brothel concepts, then it's kind of complicated. They're given a place to live, food, clothes and such, and it incurs a 'debt' that they're supposedly trying to pay back by doing what they do. Of course the system is skewed so that they never actually succeed in doing it on their own; usually the only way they get out of it is how it happened here. Some rich person buying their freedom or offering to marry them and paying a 'dowry'.
Just leaving, or trying to escape would mark them as fleeing a debt, and could have bounty hunters or the like sent after them to either bring them back or kill them for trying to run.

Knowing those types even one coin misplaced would have sent high alarm.

I'm so glad that Christopher and Nora are going to be together from now on; clearly this is a happy happy ending for both, or maybe I should say that this is a happy beginning for both instead. And speaking of happy endings, I'm glad Dahlia is also leaving that brothel too; good for her. However, now I wonder what will happen to the rest of the women who are in that brothel, as well as its owner, since this comic is not over yet.
It looks like Lizard Boss has kicked the bucket going by the stuff drooling out of his mouth, the excitement from the offer of the gold nugget must have triggered a fatal heart attack! I don't think Dahlia is going to get him coming back after her either...

Well the boss can retire with all that gold if he wants, if he is smart he is set for life.
I hope Dahlia can find some nice work elsewhere, tho I agree, she could have taken some of the gold for herself and the boss would never have known, but it seems she is honest, so I wish her much happiness.
As for Nora-- I'm not sure what she is thinking her life is going to be like now. I'm not sure how much of an adventurer she is and I can't imagine Christopher taking her around into dark dungeons with him. He could set her up in a house I suppose but he has to earn money again. Maybe he has a place for her. Either way would Nora be happy sitting around with him gone? I don't sense a romantic relationship with these two, not at least long term. They shared some quality time and both enjoyed it but I don't see Chris falling in love with Nora at this point. He is more feeling that she is worthy of a better life and he is able to give that to her. Chris just doesn't seem like the romantic type but he could be a good provider. Nora doesn't seem like she is the domestic type either, so I'm very curious as to how this will all turn out. I'm hoping for something other than, "they lived happily ever after" cause I think that would be an injustice to both characters. They are more complex than a Disneyesque ending. :)

I'll be honest. I'm not one for straight up sex, for gigantic dicks, or bukake on par with a nickolodeon game show, but none of that bothers me in the slightest. This isn't the first of your stories I've enjoyed, and ever since I recently discovered your works, I find myself perusing more and more. You take porn with a plot to an entirely new level, and it's not just the lewds. Hell, it's not even just your incredulous art style. It's your writing. You make these characters, these stories, and tell them over generously sized comics that keep moving me to literal tears. The romance always feels so genuine and beautiful, and I find myself increasingly jealous, and inspired, by your talent. I don't know if you'll see this or pay it any heed, but if you do, know that I say this with tears in my eyes and a smile on my lips. Thank you. Thank you for making these stories, these characters, and sharing them with us. <3
