Over a year ago, we got kicked out of our apartment because an upstairs neighbor broke a pipe and flooded the place. The worst was the water caving in the false ceiling and making such a mess of our place, the landlords kicked us out citing unhealthy conditions rather than have the expense of putting us up somewhere until the apartment was fixed.
We have been financially trapped in an extended stay hotel and my backpay from a farm I worked on is drying up. We have an offer to move but its not soon.
