*Puuh* This took some time, from planning to the last colouring. It did NOT came out like I wanted, yet I have to accept my constraints of talent and material.
Inspired by the Occitan medieval song "Ai vis lo lop", here is a clash of
Coyotero's Logan Silver, the wooden-legged wolf and my fox Jaquard duSang. In the song, there was also a hare mentioned, but this would ruin the situation as the only hare which is in our stories is a pacifist.
I tried to express the movement, to capture a scenery like a movie shot, yet I failed in the colouring: Planned was an impressionistic style with less detail done in oil. But most of the material was dried in, so I could not sue it that much I wanted... This picture was finished with aquarell in my usual detailed style... sorry for that.
Hope
Coyotero agrees on my version of his gorgeous wolf ;)

Lyrics:
Ai vis lo lop
Lo rainard, lèbre
Ai vis lo lop
Rainard dancar
Totei tres fasiàn lo torn de l`aubre
Ai vis lo lop, lo rainard, la lèbre
Totei tres fasiàn lo torn de l`aubre
Fasiàn lo torn dau boisson folhat
Aqui triman tota l`annada
Pèr se ganhar quauquei soùs
Rèn que dins una mesada
Ai vis lo lop, lo rainard, la lèbre
Nos i fotèm tot pel cuol
Ai vis lo lèbre, lo rainard, lo lop
I saw the wolf, the fox and the hare
I saw the wolf and the fox dancing
All three circled around the tree
I saw the wolf, the fox and the hare
All three circled around the tree
Circled the sprouting bush
Here the whole year over is filled with work
To earn a few pennies
And the whole month I didn't see anything
When I saw the wolf, the fox and the hare
There is nothing left for us anymore
I saw the hare, the fox and the wolf 946

"He is not my master anymore, Logan Silver. Now you will learn from me!"
You could try a later version of this with either straight oil or straight water-colors and see how it turns out. The characters and their poses look good, just have to find the best medium to express them with.
Well I only know a bit of the Provençal dialect (graphie mistralienne), which is a modernised phonetic spelling that wouldn't have been used in the 18th century so it's kind of useless to you. Anyway, "en garde sale vilain!" is "mon aerolisador es plen d'anguilas". That might be useful. Other stuff here (traditional spelling):
