On a nice weekend in October the family drove to a large pumpkin patch a bit outside of the city to pick some nice pumpkins for Halloween and to decorate the house and garden with. Also some other varieties for eating as well, but the kids didn't really care much for those.
The two boys and their plushies were more interested in finding the best ones for carving and had decided to split up and cover more ground.
While Kuraiko, his plushie friend Minoru and his mum were strolling around one end of the field, Sascha and Sammy were on the other.
Dressed in boots, a warm purple jacket and an adorable orange bandana, printed with small bats, Sascha was in no danger of getting cold and could take his time.
Every potential candidate had to thoroughly tested by the older lynx, so the little bearkitty was walking around and then setting the long-tailed lynx plushie on top of them to perform the testing.
Finally the duo found a massive, perfectly shaped pumpkin and Sascha set Sammy down. After a couple of seconds, the plushie was convinced.
"Meow."
"You sure, Sammy? Nothing wrong with it? Everything like you wanted?"
"Meow!"
"Alright, alright.. just wanted to make sure. Then this one!"
Taking a step back and looking at the pumpkin, little Ghosty realized how big that one was. No chance of carrying it back to the car themselves.
"Oh Dear... I hope Daddy will help on that one."
"Meooooow... ^^' "
Sammy... never big on words.

What better thing to do than to go hunting for a nice pumpkin to turn into some Halloween decorations, especially if you have you best plushie friend helping you find it.
And it seems they found the perfect one. Poor Daddy ^^'
