PCA - Sarabi's Profile

Because Alicia wasn't bad tempered enough to simply insult or beat down people without reason, here's her old friend Sarabi, who will do just that. She's also the first member (well, technically Andre is) of Team Throne. Yes, my manliest character is female. She also smokes and probably packs heat. Yeah, she'd probably one of my favourite characters to write for. Next to Corrine, of course. I like the bad ones.
I will also openly laugh at anyone who attempts to make her reveal her nicer side to the world.
Name: Sarabi Garuda
Species: Weavile
Battle Skill: High
Average Grades: 60%
Age: 17
Height: 6’2.8” (1.9m)
Weight: 156.5lb (71kg)
Grade: Senior
Family: Father: Vito Garuda (Sandslash) Mother: Dewi Garuda (Sneasel)
History:
Sarabi, like Alicia, was born in Pyrite Town, a member of the Dust Runners like Alicia. She was the team’s mechanic, a shy and cute girl who was really just thereto make friends; and for protection from the town’s other, rowdier gangs. She was quite low on the ranks due to her reluctance to join in any fights, but many of the members secretly respected her skill with machinery.
However, when her leader and hero, Alicia, left, she decided to take up the plate of the leader of the Dust Runners. Forcing herself to become tough and ruthless like her rolemodel she forced her way through the ranks with force and strength from training harshly. Becoming something of a dictator in comparison to Alicia’s relatively relaxed attitude Sarabi became feared across the town for her brutality and strength. This was short lived, though, as she was soon moved to Viridian like Alicia was before in order for her fighting skills to be properly used in the PCA. Frustrated by her loss of power but on the other hand happy to see her hero once again, Sarabi was determined to recreate her brutal image in the PCA in order to prove herself to Alicia.
Sarabi became quite the bully around the school, brutally and quickly dispatching anyone daring enough to irritate her or get in her way. Soon feared amongst lower years Sarabi became quite a power in the school, and thus gained Alicia’s attention. Hearing of Sarabi’s appearance she met her old friend, only to find her old friend, the kind and shy little girl, was now cruel and tough, all in an attempt to prove herself worthy. Unsure of how to react Alicia humoured her old friend, wondering if she could ever get the old Sarabi back…
Personality:
Sarabi, while she was once kind and empathetic, is now cruel and selfish, striking down anyone in her way with her skill and strength. Get in her way, accidentally or deliberately, and you shall soon be face up on the floor; and that’s if she’s in a good mood. She is especially volatile when she is beaten in her passions (engineering, battling or driving), often forcing herself to become stronger, often via rather self-destructive behaviours. Easily willing to crush her foes’ spirits and ruin their lives completely if it means winning Sarabi is a truly terrifying girl. But, despite all this, Alicia still believes that Sarabi has some of her old, caring personality in her somewhere.
Sarabi’s bad temper and attitude comes partially from her sexist treatment whilst she was in Pyrite, which was part of the force which led her to make herself so tough and brutal. She is quite an extreme feminist in some ways, quick to take offence from flirts and even compliments.
Interests:
Sarabi is still a skilled mechanic, enjoying working on her profession in her free time. While she originally just maintained and customised the Dust Runners’ motorbikes and other machinery Sarabi is now skilled at making gadgets and odd machines from practically scrap, although she isn’t very good with blueprints and proper machines due to her poor education earlier in her life. She can manage to work with them though, it just takes time.
Sarabi is a lover and follower of ‘gang’ culture in general, from street racing to breakdance (that’s probably why she gets along with Tano, actually). With her attitude and strength despite her age she is rather well-respected in Viridian, and has plenty of contacts to work with. She isn’t much of a supporter for heavily illegal activities, as she thinks that’s against the concepts of the culture, only getting into such deals if it has major benefit to her, like the collection of a specific machine part.
Moves:
Freshman Moves:
Scratch: The basis of Sarabi’s fighting style, which is made up from slashing and clawing attacks, along with some ice moves to boot.
Faint Attack: Sarabi makes a lightning fast strike on her foe, a slash that is nigh-on unavoidable due to it’s unpredictable nature and speed.
Fury Swipes: A flurry of slashes from Sarabi’s immense claws shred any enemy straying to close from the girl. Anyone who survive the first few slashes is trapped in the storm of slashes, and torn apart by their speed and strength. While a devastating move this move leaves Sarabi’s back and sides undefended, and thus she prefers to use it in short bursts.
Nasty Plot: While Sarabi doesn’t get very high grades in schoolwork Sarabi is still very smart, just in a less acedemic way and more in a planning way. She’s good at making plots and extended battle plans, but they really rely on a perfect sequence of events, rarely having openings for mistakes.
Sophomore Moves:
Night Slash: Hiding in the shadows Sarabi lunges out with a surprise claw across her victim’s flank, taking them off guard. While a surprise attack, this clawing technique seems somewhat weaker than Sarabi’s normal ones.
Metal Claw: Making the surface of her claws like steel Sarabi slashes her foe, rending them with the now steel-blades. The steel edge makes the claws just that much sharper, making her fearsome claws even more terrifying. However, it is hard to predict as Sarabi’s claws are naturally rather metallic, and thus already appear reflective.
Ice Beam: Calling an icy chill through her body Sarabi fires a freezing beam of water, which she then freezes as it travels. Anything struck by the water ends up frozen, and for a good time too; the water’s freezing produces far thicker ice than simply summoning the ice directly. However, if one can avoid the water blast the ice beam is rendered useless, except for freezing the battlefield.
Blizzard: Sarabi’s summons a storm of slow and ice, forming a layer of snow on the battlefield (the depth varies on how long Sarabi has to charge the move, and on the size of the arena, of course). Along with the snow usually comes shards of ice that can lightly cut any foes, but usually Sarabi sacrifices the shards for more snow. After all, the thicker the snow, the more places to hide, and thus ambush from…
Junior Moves:
Thief: While using another basic move Sarabi lunges a hand at whatever he foe has on them, snatching it off of them while they’re distracted by her basic attacks. Sarabi dislike actually using her opponents item, preferring instead to simply toss it out of their reach and the mock them for the reliance on it.
Poison Jab: Layering her claw with poison Sarabi slashes her target, the cuts allowing a quick way into bloodstream for the poison. These poisons cause severe internal pain to their victim, manipulating the nervous system to create this effect.
Crush Claw: With a chopping slash Sarabi tears down her opponent’s defences, breaking enemy guards and obstacles alike with it’s vertical momentum.
Ice Punch: Forming ice around her claw Sarabi slashes her target, forcing the ice to continue spreading and thus freezing the victim in the point of contact. The ice connection between Sarabi and her foe is quickly broken by Sarabi’s force, but this often shatters the ice caught on her target.
Senior Moves:
Ice Shard: Sarabi creates a large, rough shard of ice which she flings at her foe. The shard shatters into piercing crystals when it impacts, the small spears sticking into anything they touch.
Pursuit: Sarabi never lets her prey get away, using her superior speed to outrun and out manoeuvre them before they can flee too far. With a quick slide Sarabi forces herself in front of her fleeing foe, getting in one more slash before they can escape.
Dark Pulse: One of Sarabi’s more recently learnt moves. Using her built up negative energy from her cruel nature Sarabi sends out a pulse of darkness which covers the ground with a shadow-like coating. The coating burns away at other ‘mons’ flesh like acid, but only lasts a short time before disappearing completely.
Low Kick: One of Sarabi’s favourite moves, Sarabi interrupts her foe with a kick leg sweep, usually tripping them up and leaving them on the floor; and at her mercy.
Appearance:
Sarabi looks bulky and tough due to her height paired with her rather baggy clothing, which makes her look a lot bulkier than she actually is. Sarabi constantly wears a stern scowl, rarely smiling or showing emotion at all in order toe reinforce her tough attitude. She wears baggy black trousers and a black tank top covered with a heavy navy-blue jacket along with menacing black combats. She’s often found smoking, though rarely does so on the school’s ground for obvious reasons. She sometimes were more punk based clothes similar to Janice’s at times too, although she prefers not to show off her body.
Underneath her baggy clothing and façade is a very beautiful body, one that would make even Janice or Eyrie jealous. Sarabi’s true body is voluptuous and curvaceous, but is only seen by her dorm-mates, and even then they’d have to be lucky. Despite her amazing looks she is ashamed of her true figure, as she believes it’s effeminate look would make people see her as girlish and weak.
Team and Relationships:
Sarabi doesn’t get along with anyone apart from her hero Alicia, but has ended up in a team with Tano, Mitzy and Andre. She doesn’t like any of them much (especially Mitzy), but tolerates them so long as they follow her commands.
However, she has recently gotten quite close to Corrine, an equal genius who she respects due to his perfectly equal respect of both genders (ie, none). The two’s cooperation is a terrifying prospect; with Corrine’s genius in planning and Sarabi’s skill in the practical side of things, the two are a daunting force. Their relationship is apparently ‘strictly professional’, at least according to Corrine, though.
