As the two start on their walk home, Sherryl brings up something she was made aware of as she was waiting for Tina to complete her purchase...
You see, Sherryl has over time, fallen into the role of den mother or sorts. An "administrator", you might say. as such, she's the first one to be informed of stuff like new characters being added to my roster of OC's. In-universe, she'll be the one to greet the new arrivals and show them around. Not so much of a spoiler since she starts talking about them on the next page, and how many people read these descriptions that closely?
Technical: As another nod to the foggy conditions, I changed the eye highlighting from a point source to just an overall light reflection over the upper half of the eyes, though on future artwork, I'll probably feather the lower edge more.
One detail that doesn't show up in the finished image here is an error I didn't catch until the image was completed. Somehow, the starter image I built this upon was created as a 72DPI image rather than a 300DPI like I normally do. I didn't notice something was up till I tried to superimpose my "crossbuck" logo and it pasted in much wider than the image instead of appearing in its entirety in the upper left corner. When I went to export the reduced-size JPG you see here, I found much to my dismay that the resolution was much smaller than expected. Too late to fix that now, but I thought I'd mention that here in case I revisit the project folder and the original Clip Studio image file.
Digital drawing performed in Clip Studio Paint EX. 21 layers including text and balloons, 9MB .CLIP file. Part of Project ID# 495 (Pg#96)
