For taenarius: The Battle of Vimeiro

A long, long, long delayed trade with
Taenarius. At this point, again my deepest regrets, but I had to do a thesis for the campus which caught all my attention.
Some words to this work, if I may: This is my very first ferret I ever draw after a two month period of no drawing at all, so be patient... I tried to keep the sausage like anatomy with a long abdomen and rather short legs, but it seems I fell back on my usual ground skeleton again. Taenarius' character is a British soldier of the infantry in the Napoleonic Wars. It is my own artistic liberty to make him a Scottish Infantryman, for which the main reason could be I own a 3D figurine showing many detail. The setting is the Battle of Vimeiro, in which British troops under general Wellesley (later the Duke of Wellington) defeated the French and made the first step to the downfall of the Napoleonic empire.
Enjoy, and
Taenarius, I hope you approve.

The clarity and attention to detail is superb. It was certainly worth the anticipation. I think you do ferrets very well, if I may say so.
So, thank you very much, and I'm very grateful that you agreed to a trade. As always, your work is of splendid quality.
very nicely done - now get back to that thesis...
