Another premier: After the definitely adult-rated demon goat, here comes me first boar. I have to thank old Mr. Brehm for his genius animal lexicon. To improve my drawings, especially the anatomy of goats, sheep, pigs etc., I bought one on the last book fair. I hope it pays of.

Torrek is a character designed by  kumbartha, but as I am able to recall, he never made his way on a picture before. He's a boatswain, but don't let you trick by his appearance, he is mostly a nice guy. For his manly built and huge strength, he is an object of adoration by Jaquard duSang, my main char. The tattoo on his hands calls HOLD FAST, a little homage to the movie Master and Commander.
I tried my best to keep the specific body structure of pigs and boars. I learned drawing with a human basic skeleton, but I noticed it is more a challenge then a help: Boars hve rather short legs, but a long "abdomen"...Hope it looks realistic here...Kumbartha made a good point, btw. Why are so many pig/boar characters drawn with rings through their nose? There are no humans to domesticate them, so it is rather odd. I kept the ring in his hair as little parody on that.
