"The shores of Limbo are littered with lost souls and forlorn shades that drift aimlessly. They're denied paradise, not even note-worthy enough for perdition. Their true torment lies in the fact that they are able to find any meaningful rest in the afterlife. However there is a creature that provides some light in the darkness. A guiding beacon for the destitute, the forlorn, and unworthy. They do not even know his name for he too is another unfortunate that has lost their own identity in this empty place. They are simple known as...The Stray Sentinel"

So that's the little bit of backstory I came up with for this character. He is part of my "Hellcats", a series of demonic entities that dwell in the confines of each of the 9 circles of Hell. We know already of myself, Kitora, and I was inspired to design a series of "brothers" for him. Limbo was in fact the last one I did and he is actually one of the only "good" ones. Also some might question why a Hyena is part of a series with the word "cats" in it. Well technically hyena are more closely related to cats then dogs, but it's sort of a mixed bag of genetics that's the subject of a lil contention. But I believe they are more feline then canine.
