Old ideological habits? Does he come from a family of Libertarian contrarians that think community gets in the way of the individuals ability to reach their full potential (God I hate Atlas Shrugged, and Rand Paul, the useless contrarian either took corporate money to vote against nationwide Marijuana legalization or he opposed it because he can't help but be a contrarian, he's programmed himself to oppose popular bills, because they're popular and for no other reason, his Libertarian base loooooves government deregulation and legalized Marijuana for adults over 21, but he opposed it, risking political suicide either for money from big pharma or because he can't help himself....... wow! Went on a political rant there, sorry.😅 I just kinda hate Congress, and I need better ways to vent.)
Oli needs to work on her attitude before encountering Sarah's tribe. The particulars are as yet unknown, but at some point she must integrate or her long term survival is questionable. As tribal life apparently revolves heavily on the stability of individual clans, and by extention of clanmates from close hatching dates rather than a single tribal leader, there's likely some traditional mechanism by which she will be accepted or rejected. A judgement call by village elders perhaps? Or a quest to prove worthiness? A bribe with something of value? Sponsorship by Sarah?
