Huh, is flipping gender a common occurrence with drekification?
Also is hooves vs no hooves (sub)species-related, or more random? Noticing a lack of horns and smoother muzzle too with Oli so I’m guessing it’s the former here?

Generally drekification is less of a "transformation" and more where the Raddir destroys a body it doesn't understand (human) and replaces it with something that can be more safely acted upon in the reality of the dragonscape that is the closest possible õndemic equivalent (Drek) So generally your new body will be reasonably close to the chronological age you were as a human as well as most of the biological aspects. Sometimes though due to the chaotic nature of this process you sometimes find drekir who were swapped to the opposite sex, are a slightly different age from predrekification, or of a different build type (From very scrawny human to very stocky drek for example).
Unintended shifts like that aren't super common though they happen from time to time, such is the chaotic nature of getting your spirit shoved into a new body.
Drekir breeds are determined by the climate and ecoregion in which the egg they came from was laid or, as with 1st gen drekir, where they were when the Pulse "hit" them. So the drekir around Oli are "Temperate drekir" since their eggs were laid within a temperate (rain)forest and the 1st gen drekir of the region were likewise changed to temperate drekir. There are over 10 breeds of drekir that each have their different traits from the fat tailed Arid Drekir to the somewhat smaller and feathered tropical drekir and the notably large more mammalian arctic drekir along with even more dramatic shifts when you jump from breeds to drekir subspecies like the Himir.
Humans who are from outside the dragonscape that are drekified kinda become their own breed of Foreign drekir that are notably "bald" or lacking distinct traits. They don't have the hooves or horns of a temperate breed nor the fat tail and spines of an arid breed, nor are they particularly small or large. Likewise they aren't nearly as consistent in the tones of scales that they grow, they are essentially a breed of drek that lacks any breed distinct features.

Thanks for the quick and detailed reply! Looking at some of the older pieces and journals it’s fascinating how the lore has evolved over time.
For example an older journal mentioned hooves for “Forest Drekir (DrekirFijal)”, which I am assuming were/are basically what you called “Temperate Drekir” here?
With breed being related to origin biome, I’m assuming that means for example eggs laid in the desert by a temperate Drekir would hatch as fat-tailed? If a post-pulse ‘bald’ Drekir like Oli were to lay eggs, would they follow those same rules?
What would happen to a Drekir if they left the area of the warp and Mana to where humans like Oli come from?
Is there something like a Wiki that unifies the most up-to-date lore of the dragonscape? For example you mentioned “Himir” and a wiki would be very useful to quickly find Info on them.

Wait till you see my older account where the Dragonscape was born, lots of changes over the past several years since the setting was getting started.

Quite interesting information, I had not planned to enter the Discord server (I am into it too much at the moment). So knowing those data around here has intrigued me a lot about this world of comics.
Although good, I saw that there was also another comic from this world in the gallery, but I still haven't started to take a look.
I hope that the page / wiki that you are doing in a google page, can be done without problems, taking a look at the world of the drekir seems interesting... Especially these strange entities that they call "gods" and "fallen gods"... Well, from what little I saw of the other comic.

Me too! It's been coming along slowly since I work on the comic a lot but its slowly (and surely) coming along, I am planning on ramping up work for it soon to try and get more of it done faster so that folks can have an easier time getting into the lore.

In general, I usually see what the author wants to "show" to the reader (culture, races, world, points of view, etc, etc) and keep my intrigue to see what the author can jump to. Of course, a complex world like the one you seem to be developing are the ones that usually "catch me" (although also the one in Valsalia, I'm also following his comic).
I may not ask much, but I will take into account when something catches my attention ... although it will usually be about the "magic system" of the world, it is what interests me the most and, in this it seems to have a quite interesting concept. .. and "fluid", oli I experience it in their meats hahaha.
I will consider the discord, although it may not enter in the near future.

With the Spanish, if it is my "mother tongue", my level of English is too bad so I write this with the google translator. Although I can read English without a translator, except for a few things.

don't worry, if it's because of studying languages, it was my worst subject. I also had problems for the "he" "she" "them" "we" among other things. What makes it most difficult for me is knowing how to set up sentences, reorganize how to write things.
I also studied a little Korean, from the time when my family and I had in mind to go to Korea to live (my sister was already living there for a while), but the economic crisis spoiled all the plans.
Well, I was still having some trouble learning, but my composition was not much different than Spanish, in a way. Although in pronunciation it is another story. Also in English, I'd rather write in English than have to speak it haha.

Eyyyy, I really like the idea! I just gotta get a little bit further ahead with comic/Patreon stuff before I can do other, unpaid, fun and for-me arts though. I'd actually considered doodling a drek once or twice but then WHOOPS GOTTA POST ANOTHER PAGE BY TUESDAY OR I CAN'T PAY RENT
