Here's another hybrid challenge! This time the prompt was Crocodilian/Big cat. I decided to try and go a more unique route and select a big cat from mythology. I felt a Chinese Guardian Lion would mix well with the reptilian features of a crocodile, and, low and behold, here we are!

I kinda rushed this one, depending more heavily on the lineart than rendering out the shading, but I still think it looks alright in the end. I found a new brush that's good for hashing out shadows in small spaces, though I feel I could have executed it much better. It looks good from a distance, but zooming in on those curls reveals some ugly spots that I'm not fond of. Learning experience! On to the next one!
