I made the changes and it is getting closer. Not only I increased the hole size and spacing, I switched the hole pattern. Instead of using the basic grid pattern like before, I when with the "showerhead" pattern. Solidworks calls it something like a circular fill pattern and took me a while to find it. The had it under the features section instead of inside a sketch. But once found, it made the look I wanted.
Getting close but there are a remaining few issues. The holes still a little too small and came out muddy. Plus there is that weird horizontal line. Not sure why as the hole spacing is supposed to be equal but that is how the slicer rendered it. I'll increase the hole size and spacing once more and see if that fixes it.
