I pretty much finished my plasma globe mod with a new base made of custom 3D printed parts that I designed and made. The smaller base allows it to fit inside the jaws of my dragon fursuit head much better. I want to add the glowing orb effect like in my badge I commissioned last year (Here https://www.furaffinity.net/view/33849423/ if you haven't seen it).

I test fitted in the jaws and it looks great to me. No pics of that as of yet as I am redoing the jaws to make it narrower as well as adding the new teeth, which are 3D printed. All in all, I hope to have the mods done by ACFI in the fall.

The flat black paint does help hide the base when globe is held in my jaws and makes it a lot less noticeable, especially in dim light. I plan on using it at night to the glow effect would be more pronounce anyway. The unit is USB powered so a small powerbank would be easy to conceal too.

Now only if I can recreate the electrical sparks coming from my claws and horns like in the badge... safely. That would be awesome indeed. I could use the guts from a small smoke or vape machine to do the puffs of smoke from my nostrils. Perhaps a future project is in order. Maybe stuffing a reddish orange LED up there would do in the meantime. I am full of so many ideas that I can hardly contain myself. 0..0
