First of all I must preface this by profusely thanking you,  AshleyFableBlack for commissioning me to draw you,  Sanita_Squirrel, and your darling son edgar. I would have initially liked to have finished it by his birthday but alas time got to me and if i remember right I ended up finishing it the day after, instead.

Now, to the meat of the matter: this commission was a joy, a delight, nay an absolute honor to draw. I have gotten the pleasure of getting to know ashley recently, and I would like to say that we are friends, or at least could be in time, and I have rarely met a person who radiates such a warmth and love, especially towards her family. For her to choose to allow me to draw them - to trust me to create something for them - well that feels incredibly special to me.
I wanted this piece to radiate that same love and warmth, and took special care with the details: Sanita with her two month baby bump, the diaper bag with supplies for edgar, the toddler totter that he's doing as he makes his way to show his mothers what he has, the gentle expressions... I even made three different lighting options because I couldn't decide which one I liked more!
In the end I'm thrilled with how it came out, and I'm so happy I got the opportunity to create this for them 💖
