Imagination is a most wonderous and powerful thing. It is through this ‘third eye’ that even the blind can see just as well as those with 20 / 20 vision.
Given it is the year 2020, I feel starting off with a 20 / 20 look into the ‘mind’s eye’ is worth a few words.
The picture above is based on the design of a onesie I purchased awhile back. I never saw what it looked like with my own eyes but have seen it through my mind’s eye through
Starponys
White unicorn girl with a baby blue, pink, and light yellow mane. Wearing a pink diaper. The tail is purple, light blue-green, and light yellow-green. Light yellow hooves and purple eyes.
The unicorn sits facing to the right. She sits on a blue cloud with a rainbow behind. Starting from the outer edge, the rainbow is light blue, purple, hot pink, bright yellow, and light yellow. Above the rainbow is the following words in hot pink: “Diapers are Magic”. The font is a somewhat whimsical-looking serif font.
In the background are lightish yellow stars.
When I have the chance to wear this onesie, I think on how it has been described to me and how it allows me to, for a time, allow life’s worries to go away as I rustle about in my diapers. I’ll even add to this through cuddling a plush Yoshi that I have a Baby Cuddles, G1 MLP, blankie for while resting my head atop a Spike pillow as I listen to shows like “Birdz”, “My Little Pony Tales”, and “Adventures In Duck Port”. All things described, with the exception of the Yoshi, I’ve never actually seen but have had described to me by friends.
The mind’s eye makes it easy to forget that I have never seen much of what I’ve acquired in the past three years to encourage what is known as ‘replacement therapy’. The idea in replacement therapy is how one positively fills a hole left behind from a loss.
Over the past two months, I’ve been so honored by friends, like
Tacki and
Lanny Ohowitz for continuing to draw my character, Yosh. It’s been an increasing honor knowing how
Lucca has provided YCH opportunities for Yosh to be seen in different clothes, too. However the most intriguing developments have been
Pidgopidgey,
SweetieLover, and
Plinkie_Poi sharing their own visions of how they perceive Yosh through the use of their talent.
Plinkers is the one who adapted the onesie image to what you see above. However, thanks to the original description and the following description she provided, it is like I’ve seen both with my own eyes.
The scene is like that of a dream or from an imagination. A white space where anything could come into being, it's so free, soft, and inviting. A 'sky' of stars and moons that could be found on a child's nursery cover the space. And in this magical space, two friends sit on a cloud, soft as, well, a cloud. The cushy swirls making it so inviting, and invite someone it has.
Sitting on this cloud are two friends, both of them scaly but so very different. And also, not very different at all. To the right is a purple dragon, or mostly purple, named Spike. Greens ridges go from the top of his head (which are longer than the rest) to the spade at the end of his tail, gently curving and wagging with delight. Where ears would be, there are green frills, and from his chin and going along his belly are soft, green ridges. They looks like the sort that would be playfully ticklish, or maybe that's his warm smile he's sharing with his good friend as he looks over with his sweet, sweet green (and slitted, reptilian) eyes that makes him look like he's a happy little boy.
On that note, he's holding hands with his dear friend, laying his claws on top of Yosh-e-o's fingers as they both lean back to ted on their palms. Yosh-e-o, a green yoshi-like creature, is just as happy looking as Spike. A smile on his beak, his deep blue eyes meeting his good friend's, and the frills on his head raised up as they curve, he's loving being here with Spike. Though, he seems a little overdressed compared to his friend, but then all babies play differently. Where Spike is only wearing a thick, cushy, warm diaper that matches Yosh's down to the sketchy hearts running down along the middle, Yosh is wearing a soft-colored red and white striped t-shirt with a big warm heart (that's likely not as big and warm as his actual heart), and big blue shoes good for running around in as young children like to do.
Behind the two of them is a soft-colored rainbow, coming out and going back into the cloud. And above this rainbow are three simple words. 'Diapers Are Magic!' Which, judging from this magical, joy-filled scene of two friends being so happy as they sit about and just enjoy the other's company, is very true.
So, although the year is 2020 and perfect eyesight is 20 / 20, I am thankful for all my friends, including

, for turning my 0 / 0 sight into vision far more perfect than I could ever have imagined it to be.
Many thanks to all who have been a part of my journey to make the most out of each life challenge thrown my way. I hope you all know, whether listed here, or not, that I value your time, comments, notes, and hope that I am forever able to pay all of your kindness back and/or forward.

It seems my own involvement with MLP has been a sort of replacement therapy — except it takes the place of something I’ve never really had.
For the description for the art above, I notice that the artist has a different description style than I do. I try to give a precise description of what I see. The artist may go a little more for a feeling than for a precise description. Perhaps my description seems a little dry by comparison, whereas the artist’s seems somewhat flowery by comparison.
By the way, my name is ends in P-O-N-Y-S: Capital S, then T-A-R-P-O-N-Y-S. (I understand that homonyms would not be visible to you.)
Also, my description for the onesie has the following paragraph at the end: “In the background are lightish yellow stars and moons.” (I understand that selecting text can sometimes be tricky for you.)
In any case, thank you for sharing your own perspectives. I feel I have gained a much better understanding of groups of people I didn’t know well before.

What you discuss about how your description varies from that of Plinkers is why I truly enjoy being here within this community. All art is 'subjective'. Being subjective allows us to freely provide our unique takes on what is presented. Most of the time, at least for me, these variations are what have allowed me to grow as a person while embracing outside ideas I may not have considered before.
This also goes well with what I shared with Renchu. When I could see, I admired how he found different artists to draw his OC. Renris has had a fair number of pose, body-shape, and other variations based on each artist's unique skill / perspective. It was always fun seeing how Renris would look in each art post as it made you know that all characters could have been made hundreds of different ways. There is no right, or wrong, way to do it except to not try to see outside the proverbial box.
*Blush* I'll need to fix that mistake in your name. If I don't go letter-by-letter the screen reader can give misleading results. (At work, I came across a customer's card that had a first name that JAWS pronounced as 'Ray' and it was actually 'Rhea'. Big difference from 'Ray' to "Re-ah'.)
Back to the original point, there is no wrong way to share information. Your description gave me a lot of perspective and allowed my imagination to form an adorable scene. Plinkers' allowed me to take the original description you gave, modify it for what I had commissioned her for, and see even more. :)
Growth in creativity and friendship comes from having that open mind to value everyone's thoughts, ask questions if you don't understand, and, most importantly, be kind and never say anything negative unless you have something positive / constructive to provide along with it.

This is certainly high praise coming from someone whom inspired me to get stronger. Hopefully life has been more favorable to you in recent years? (I need to make sure I'm still following you after my 'going blind' purge I did back in 2016. I do miss following you and your creative adventures.)
Something I just realized is how, in a notable way, you inspired me to want to get to see how other artists translate Yosh through their talents. I recall a lot of really neat takes on Renris and thinking how cool it was seeing the many incarnations of your OC.
Does Renris still have that epic wrench of his?

Ooh! I never thought of how Renris could have benefited from the alternate version from Pokémon Sun & Moon. Though this could also add to why, from what I recall, Renris could glow with a hint of green light and also give more towards, if he still has it, green tongue.
ELECTRIC / PSYCHIC Renris certainly does add a lot of possibilities. I could see using the PSYCHIC ability along with the wrench-axe to pull off some really epic moves. Perhaps a combo where Psychic is used to hold an opponent long enough to drive the wrench-axe down and finish with a solid blast of Thunder?
I also can bet building and making repairs is tons easier with his natural talent coupled with Psychic.
Oh, yes. Lots of possibilities.
*Sighs* Health issues are the worst. Would you say yours are pretty well managed at this moment? Stability is very hard to get but delightful when it does come to pass. :)

He does indeed still have his glow but its now purple instead of green. The theme with him is whatever the colors of his highlights are is what his skin color is. The psychic power is a nice addition since he can A. Ride around on his tail which is fun to do in general. B. Telekinesis is very helpful when inventing, multitasking opportunists. C. Of course he's weak to darkness and bugs now but a trade off for extended power. =p
Yeah my issues isn't life threatening but life hindering. Been battling this wound for two years now so hopefully it will finally go away in 2020.
Yeah my issues isn't life threatening but life hindering. Been battling this wound for two years now so hopefully it will finally go away in 2020.
If it is okay to ask, is the wound a physical and/or emotional one?
I struggle the most from my emotional wounds. I had thought missing an entire eyeball would make my head feel different but, oddly, I can't tell the eye was ever removed. Quite odd.
It is amazing how emotional scars are the hardest to heal. I've been in therapy for years and can't ever seem to totally get a grip on all that has happened to me. I've made great progress but life's obstacles, largely in the form of lacking ADA compliances with software, keep putting me back in a rut.
***
So Renris now has a purple hue about him? I also had wondered what was strong against Psychic-types. (Pokémon Go is fairly accessible. I can do just about everything except work the menus)
Does telekinesis also work well for diaper changes, too? Or has Renris left behind his padding due to his newly acquired Psychic powers?

Physical, its location is in a difficult spot and I was in surgery on and off for two years. Its keeping me from getting a proper job but I do have an at home one I work.
Emotional scars I can relate, there are things that still eat away at me to this day, from childhood to adult hood so in a way I can sort of understand where you're coming from.
-
Yup, he's purple now with weakness to a few things, ghost too. I guess he needs to sleep with a nightlight now. =p
Yeah its helpful for changes and changing others for that matter. He'll never leave behind his padding, new power or not. He'll wear his pampers proud. =p

Huzzah! Yosh is also quite proudly padded and never worried about what anyone may say about him enjoying the cushion-like softness and pillow-like texture.
I did see I had forgotten to bring you back on my Watch List after I did my mega purge back in 2016. This isnow rectified.
<LoL!> I like thinking of Renris sleeping with a night light. I can see that picture quite well with a short tale on how with 'Are You Afraid Of The Dark', or something like that. Renris is resting in bed with his blanket covering most of himself except the backside of his pamps. The night light, likely powered by himself, shining softly as a Murkrow and/or Umbreon look in from a distance.
Thanks for helping me to catch up with Renris. I'll try and check out some of your recent writing soon. :)

Ahaha pretty much, hopefully the dark-types will be friendly instead, otherwise the poor guy will wet himself x3
I... sadly haven't posted my writing in a long, long time. Mostly keeping them to myself. Its an unfortunate thing I've been struggling with, the "You are your worse critique." So... nowadays when I do take requests or trades I just leave it up to the person to post it.

All writers improve with each story they write. I do believe you and I did a story together quite awhile back and, to me, it turned out very well. I'm sure you have improved given the passing of time since we last shared tales.
Would you mind sending me one of your stories? I'd love to read one to see how you've been coming along.
Being one's own worst critic is certainly troublesome. I find myself feeling that way for those original works I do. However stories about MLP, Yoshi, and/or friends feel far more natural. So I'm now working with someone to clean up my original work.
Would you like me to look over some of your work to see how it is? I promise to be objective based on the basic standards of what makes for a good story. :)
*Giggles* Yosh is more the 'WATER' type. So Renris would definitely have quite the advantage over the little dino-duck. I could see Renris, as a joke, doing a little 'shock' through tapping his tail on Yosh's shoulder that causes him to quack and wet himself from the surprise. <LoL!>

This drawing is amazing! Plinkers clearly has a high quantity of talent that I would never be able to reach. You should feel especially good because how poofy look both the characters and their diapers, raising drawing's cuteness thousands of times as I know you certainly love. I feel pleased about being in that list of those who made amazing drawings showing how we look at you Yosh. Thanks for giving me that big honor. I'm sure that your other friends also feel really good about that. I just can see how much you're appreciated looking at the number of favorites and comments right here. You really deserve that my friend, I'm completely sure...
Plinkers, when I could still see, had a very adorable bat pony character. This character was the original 'Plinkers' before she started to make her own characters.
Sadly I never was able to physically see her original characters. Though I love what she kindly describes.
I thank you for your description of the drawing. It is good friends, including you, who give me sight despite having none of my very own.
I also hope you never feel any less talented upon seeing the work of others. I have learned that art quality is more about the amount of 'love' and 'effort' put forth by the one creating it. This gives us all a unique strength that cannot be copied by anyone else.
The work you do always has such a large amount of 'pride' and 'warmth' about it. I feel relaxed when I read your descriptions. You paint as well with words as you do with your art. This makes it very easy for my imagination to animate the image and think of stories that would go with the picture.
Thanks for being so warm, caring, and Sweetie. :)

I usually don't feel bad or less talented because of those kinds of drawings. They only make me want to follow them to grow up and someday, draw like my favorite artists, who in some way are my heroes because they do those things that I've never ever imagined that were possible to be created as a picture. So I'll only take lessons from them to be better every day.
And also you're welcome Yosh. You're the one who made me feel that way when reading one of your stories :3
