I love the iridescent water - and I don't know if this was intentional, but it looks kind of "thick" with the minimal refraction and smooth ripples. It really adds a subtle surreal aspect!
By the way, was that background based on a photo or did you paint it? I'm just curious what your process was for that. :>

It's something I sorta wanted, something more surreal and atmospheric even though the star of the piece
is the pretty gal. I wanted to do better in creating a more visually connected piece. And as for the BG, all my bgs are
a mix of matte painting, painting.
