Basically just a recreation of the Boo Berry cupcakes I did 2 years ago: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/25216351/ but this time I learned from my mistakes and also added pumpkin spice marshmallow filling.
What You'll Need:
-2 cups (give or take) of Count Chocula cereal
-1 box of super moist chocolate cake (and all it's needed ingredients)
-frosting (vanilla)
-1/2 cup milk
-1 large ziplock bag
-1 muffin tin
-paper muffin cups
-pumpkin spice marshmallows
-Halloween sprinkles
Step 1:
Pour the 2 cups of cereal into a bowl and separate the marshmallows. Set the marshmallows aside for now. Place the cereal bits into the ziplock bag and crush it up into dust with a tenderizing mallet. (If you don't have one, use your hands or something hard and blunt.) Also set aside for now.
Step 2:
Mix the cake mix and all of it's ingredients together, then pour the bag of cereal dust into the mix. Add 1/2 cup of milk to moisten it back up as the cereal will make the mixture very dry. Mix well.
Step 3:
Place paper cups into the muffin tin and place one pumpkin spice marshmallow on the bottom. Then fill each cup with one ice cream scoop full of batter. When all tins are full, place 4-5 cereal marshmallows on top of the batter, push them in just a bit.
Step 4:
Place in the oven and bake for 18 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes. Top with frosting and desired amount of Halloween sprinkles on top.
