Sterling Specter

Here's another, and likely the last, character that I'm resurrecting from the hole of forgotten chars. That's Sterling Specter, the first and only mlp oc I ever made. I made him around late 2011 and then he just faded away mid-2012. I'm fairly sure the reason he did fade away was 1, because I couldn't think of a proper, concrete backstory (especially about one quirk he has that'll come soon) and his cutiemark was rather overdone. Plus while I DID make some poses in the pony creator and I got some anons to edit in him to some pics (kinda like a freebie ych), I had never commed anything around that time, as the first upload I did to this profile was mid 2013. After some talking with Mylos over the months, I decided to bring him back, as well as rewriting his entire backstory and general profile... it still needs a bit of work though.
He's a 7'8 tall mechanical engineer that has gotten himself into designing and constructing racing cars, and he truly love his job. While it's his dream, he's not working in formula one yet and is still working in the european formula 3 series. (though today he got to try out a f1 car to his delight... also i got lazy in finding a ref for the car and just used a f1 mercedes :B) Something one can notice however is that despite him doing what he loves right here, he's not smiling. Obviously, people think he's a deadpan snarker from seeing this, but the truth of the matter is that he can easily be happy, laugh and enjoy things just as much any other... it's just that Sterling is literally physically unable to smile. It actually hurts when he tries to, even more so if someone forcefully try to lift his cheeks! How does he laugh if he can't smile? Well...
Original reason why I gave him that quirk back then was because of how absolute piss poor my mental health was, the lowest it's been in my whole life. I'm so glad I've left THOSE days behind! Still, I found it a bit interesting and along with his design was the only thing I kept from his original bio, which while I tried to avoid most of the brony clichés that had already popped up, some did appear regardless. See if you can figure out which ones below!
Original bio, almost all of which was scrapped, prepare your cringebutts: He was from Ponyden (which was ponified sweden), he moved to ponyville though did not try to become friends with the main cast. His cutiemark was an atari controller as his special talent was gaming. His inability to smile was only hinted at with his mentioning the finale of the show's second season.
EDIT: After some suggestions here and there, I've decided on the reason for Sterling's inability to smile; he has a unique type of paralysis that is located in his cheeks. He is only able to lift them to a certain threshold before it just stops. There are cures for it, but Sterling see no point in it as it doesn't affect his daily life and see smiling as just a little added bonus that can be left out with little consequence. It's still possible to detect subtle hints in his facial expression by those close to him to know when he's 'smiling'.
