Oboi more Motorsport Manager pics!!! I did take a break from it after quite a while, but as of late I've gotten back into it again! Hell, it's become one of my favourite games of all time and this week it became my #1 most played game on steam! Anyway... one of the dlc you can get is a challenge pack that lets you do various custom challenges where the rules of a race or season are tweaked to be the exact scenario you're told about. For example, in one of the challenges you start mid-season with your design centre burnt down. There's no way in regular gameplay that can happen, just like how another season is in the last third with your #1 driver having been sent to the hospital with very serious burn injuries and you have to win the driver's title with him upon his return.
One of the challenges lets you do a little sneak peek into another dlc for 'free' if you didn't get it. The challenge is called 'daddy's boy' and you're put in a position of the best team in the touring car series where your chairman has just hired his son to be in the #1 seat and you're tasked to win the teams championship while making sure the driver is kept happy. Because if you upset him, your boss gets upset too. Problem is, you already had a #1 driver in your team, whom thankfully happen to be one of the best drivers in the series. The son is decent, but the other one is leaps better, and despite the son having the best car in the whole field at the end of the season, he never won a single race while the other one won like 10. This was the second last challenge I had to do, and it was located in the first and easiest challenge pack (easy, medium and hard respectivly). The reason why I took so long to get to it, is because I'm not used to the setup mechanic that the touring car series has, it's far different from what I had been doing for months upon months! I forced myself to get it done however and decided to cheat the system a bit by taking pictures of the setups from other series so I'd know what I would have to aim for :B
Let's call the son Bobby Jr. This guy is for sure the most annoying asshat I've ever had the displeasure of managing in the whole game. While he DOES start out at 100% marketability (praise the virtual monis), he has a few permanent skills that make him a nuisance. He's greedy, in that unless you give every single new part to him first, he's going to be upset and make your boss mad. He has a skill that lets you have one extra vote in the series' political rule voting at the start of a season, but he also has a unique permanant skill that causes your chairman's happiness to be affected by Bobby's own increase and decrease in happiness, and yes you can get fired for this. Not only that, during the season he will send you multiple mails demanding money for parties the night before races, he will demand you fire his mechanic because he took his job seriously over partying, and he even once messed up his car's engine forcing me to choose between taking a HEAVY hit on its reliability or have my mechanics work overtime to clean up HIS mess. So yeah, the text is VERY much what he was like in-game.
Ruby represent my hatred for this guy, and after having done it, I can safely say he has a very punchable face. The pic is a screenshot of him in-game, and she's wearing the team's outfit. Now I would wonder... what would break first? The table, the chair, Ruby's sanity, or Bobby jr's face?

You know, there IS a way to forcefully make a driver quit racing altogether! Sometimes you might get an urgent mail where you can choose to accept or decline the offer to have one of your drivers become a public pawn. This increases their marketability by 50% for a whole year, following by a few days of +100% market. However, this will KILL their enjoyment of racing and they will retire immedietly! First time it happened I didn't know that it was going to happen, but the second time... oh boy the second time I accepte that offer (out of like 15) it was because of this EXTREEEEEEMELY spoiled driver in another series and I just saw the mail and I got devil horns. To make it better for me, he was already on his way out of the team, so I wouldn't have to suffer the drawback of his complaining to me and he just vanished. Oooooh how I wanted it to happen to bobby too. Especially since the reward for beating the challenge is to have bobby show up in the regular playthroughs
Thankfully he was only contracted to be in the team for one season. So she never renewed it, and once it was over she gave him a perticular nightmare... a recurring nightmare even! She didn't specify what exactly it was about, she just set it to auto adjust to his worst fears. She couldn't touch him since he was her boss' kid, but she felt this was the best kind of revenge longterm.
Again, he was exactly like this in-game, and if you DID let him go have parties, you did still get negative results on top of your money loss. First race of the season, he wants to party. You say yes, he get s a permanent skill that has his focus lowered while his marketability increase... which is a waste because he start out on 100% already. Two other parties he tries to get is ones where he'll bring along my other driver. Because it's before the race, she'll be burnt out for 20 weeks afterwards... and yes, I said TWO other parties!
all fore, as we can kiss this life good bye, if she get's more madder then she is already, but not as mad as her last one

Not madder really, she enjoy it and these two were just perticular highlights. One of the most satisfying ones I've done is where an achievement you do in regular gameplay. Each save start in 2016, and it's actually possible to win the team's championship of 2017 with Predator racing! The one ruby was in the first pic, the one I spent 10 seasons getting it setup so I could even catch up with the others! It would've been 'easy' with my current skill in the game... were it not for the fact that in that first season they voted in a change to the point system. Instead of all drivers getting points 1-20 which rewarded consistency, it was changed to top 8. I did the last race of season 2 7 times and just baaaaaaarely managed to end up 6th or 7th that race to get enough points to win the season by 2 points!
Ruby can change herself to any size she desire really, and to make it simpler for herself if she change her size she also change the memories of all mortals (and footage) so that she's always been that size. She just personally prefer this size at her usual 8 feet... also that butt is going to grow canonically
