It sounds like a good idea, but these forms of alcohol are made from the mash, not the juice.
Not to mention that juicer is in the style one uses for citrus and not one used for vegetables.

Starch, actually. By juicing the potato, and then boiling the liquid, reducing it by half you get pure starch. To either thicken soups or sauces, with minimal flavor. Or boil till its dry and now you've a flammable sticky powder if it gets wet

Whenever I'm making hand shredded potato hashbrowns, I have to press a lot of liquid out of the shredded potatoes. Maybe this gizmo would save me that hassle. :)
