This is a scan of an ancient, much tattered and yellowed old photocopy of my miniature knife and sword work.
I probably have this on my normal archive as well- but I found the original tonight and scanned it again, then fiddled with the contrast and other enhancements until it was as clear as I could get it.

The original is 8 1/2 X 11 paper, so this is almost perfect scale, in terms of the size.

Its strange to look at things like this now.
I used to make my living at stuff like this- selling what I made by hand a long time ago.
These were probably made around 1987 or 88; certainly no later than that, because I stopped doing photocopy records like this in 1988.

I'm not sure how I feel about looking at these now.
Its like a different world, and I don't feel much of a connection to what my life was like back then.

People used to say there was magic in my knives.
I never quite knew what to think of that statement.
I certainly put a lot of work and energy into making them though.

Well, at least I have this one record of my work from back then.
All told, I probably made over 200 of these things- maybe up to 400, but its really hard to say because I did not keep precise records of how many I made, or what type.

Lot of memories though.
