Home looks like a lovely place. Poor Diana. It's moments like this that you really get a sense of how far away her home is, and how much she must be afraid she'll never see it again. At least she has someone who cares about her, even if, at this point, she doesn't know how much.
You always leave the loveliest comments. ;) This page is definitely one of those pages that says a lot without a lot of dialogue. The emotions and the things left unsaid really speak volumes in these few frames. It really sums up the situation with Diana with the right emotional weight given how much it affects the story. It's funny to me how much even in real life you see lots of folks who end up together and everyone knows it before them.
This page broke my heart. I can't imagine how tough it has to be for Diana to not only be so far from home, but stranded in a strange land where, if people knew who she really was and where she was really from, she'd be in tremendous danger at the very least. I absolutely adore her as a character, and I think she's my absolute favorite of yours, except maybe for Isabelle and Lauren herself. And Ethan's hand over hers in the second to last panel just kinda brought tears to my eyes, but in a good way.
It really does a fabulous job of putting Diana's story into focus. Her presence was always a catalyzing element and helped the whole rest of the story come together. Right there, you pretty much sum up exactly the situation surrounding Diana.
I'm glad you like her so well, she definitely came together rather quickly in my mind in terms of her design and story, and always struck me as a character capable of leading a series. The moment where he puts his hand over hers is perhaps the most meaningful moment in the entire comic. It's such a simple gesture but it conveys so much.
