I think that's called a "crush" Lydia. But I suppose it sounds a bit more mysterious and interesting the way she says it.
It strikes me, again, that both Ethan and Rhodes are remarkably trusting for people who make their way as traveling merchants. Of course, Diana seems harmless enough from the start, and I suppose Oracles have a pretty solid reputation. But it's kind of a nice change from the standard gruff, cynical wanderer archetype you find so often in fiction. Diana and Lydia are both pretty darn cute, too, which no doubt helps a lot.

Well, she hasn't seen them together like Rhodes has, but it's pretty obvious to everyone except for Ethan and Diana.
There is a reason (revealed later) why Ethan generally is unconcerned about strangers, but he's also a bit of a goofball sometimes and has a weakness for pretty ladies. He's an eternal gentleman and probably easy to embarrass if you flirt with him. As far as the Oracles, they're generally a non violent order though there's nothing stopping anyone claiming to be one, but that's not the case here.

It's probably not fair for me to comment on these comic pages when I already know more of the story than has been covered here. But I really like Lydia. I can't remember how old she's supposed to be, but I get a really sweet sort of motherly vibe from her, and it feels like she's the sort of calm, level headed individual that this rag-tag bunch of adventurers really need. Perhaps especially Ethan, for as sweet as he is. I find myself both wanting to hug him for being adorable and shaking my head at how trusting he is. But that's just me being a nasty, cynical old fox. I will say that it's no wonder that Diana falls for him.
I think she's mid twenties, I know she's not super old, but I imagine most Oracles probably have a wisdom beyond their years due to their ability to read into people. No doubt she benefits from being able to see the connections others might miss. As for Ethan, he has a complex history that perhaps explains it a bit more than you see here, but he is definitely a sweetie. ;)
