Interesting. The story continues. It's rather amusing how you are able to gather the lines of the story after, what, several months. This piece truly gives more to the story, the plot moves onwards, and surprisingly, this piece stands rather well on its own. Or I just remember the previous parts too well. Anyway, very interesting read, and I rather enjoy your grip from your characters. The story is told well. Very good tale, I was entertained. Great work.

Thanks. I had always intended for the story to go in this direction, just never had the inspiration or drive to actually commit in to print. The last few weeks I’ve been thinking more about returning to it until the perfect prompt showed up. Only time will tell if I manage to continue with it or not.

I will eventually. I'd put it aside some time ago because I had no ending for it but now that I've been away from it a while I feel like something will come up.

At least the motivation came from something as lighthearted as a prompt, there are muses out there that like to torment and torture.

I know this isn't science fiction, but I saw this chapter as a furry star wars. Don't ask me why. I'm starting to feel really bad for Kicking Stone.

Ya know, it’s interesting to see how many people find it somewhat harsh what I think of as character building in my stories. Might be a good topic on the forum to see if I’m going too far or not.

Ahh, it's always so much fun to slide back into another Challenge Eagle story. :3 Regardless of how much time it takes me to get to the next chapter, the ease with which this world opens itself to me never ceases to amaze.

And I like quite a few names in these stories myself but that one does tend to stand out a bit.
