Actually not a terrible figure. In some ways it's more expressive than the official Splinter figure from the first runs.

There are 2 on eBay right now. I was thinking about buying the one that's not all sun-bleached. I like the package graphics.

Mouse Master is a hard ass. There's a better version on eBay that's not all sun bleached. The package art is rather nice. Kinda thought about buying it.

Id buy this. Ive been looking for a figure that looks like the splinter from the 80s cartoon, but its really hard to find. The first toy back in the 80s looked like a demonic version of splinter. :P

This is pretty much the original Playmates Splinter made... more cheaply I guess. I like the packaging though.

i like the fact that he has pupils, his tail and chest are not gray, and he doesn't have goth paint around his eyes. LOL The cartoon Splinter looked like this one. Never liked the Playmates figure despite being the original figure.

Oh yeah. That is an improvement. I took out my old Splinter figure last night. He's held up well over the decades. One based more on the original cartoon design would be wonderful though.

Not that I'm aware of, but that could change. Playmates have been making a few adult-collector figures that are sort of based on the original cartoon.
