This is the last Haukaiu-themed picture for a while. Kani is the heavily decorated Lutrai princess who appears in the first and last chapters of Haukaiu's adventures. This particular pose was used for the cover as well, and it was cute enough that I used it for a splash image on my website's page. I'd been looking for something new to put there for some time.
I put this up as a general audience image since her chest is intentionally covered by hair. Her bottom is bare but that seems to be a rather permissive area in these wild modern times, to the benefit of men like me. We'll see if it rides.

I imagine you have enough comments about Kani to start her own myspace page, and I'd like comment on the significant progress in your drawing and coloring abilities over the years. Some artists start and never evolve their art over time. It's easy to see the ones that are dedicated to their craft, because they keep improving. Kudos to you, Fisk. I've followed your art for several years now...thought it was about time I said "hello".
Is she blind? I agree with every one else that says she's cute/adorable.
And just a little comment on Better Days...what happened to the funny? I find its lacking the comedy that drew me into it in the first place. I understand that you are getting serious with the Bourne Identity-esque plot, but I hope that the comedy element doesn't leave entirely.

I've gotta say, I absolutely adore her design. This is such a perfect pose and look for her too. It's so innocent and sweet.
Nice work on the Haukaiu comic as well. I just read through it and thought it was an interesting change of pace. The different coloring style ready does do wonders for it.
