This is one of my projects that I've been working on. It has two metal gear servos that drive a set of wheels that will be mounted later. This is an old pic and since its taking, I have added the servos and reinforced the structure even more. A couple of challenges I set for myself when building this were no super glue and no cutting the sticks. When it's finished, I may put a camera on it and drive it around the house. The first version I made was smaller than this but had large wheels. I can tell that it won't be able to go fast due to the fact that it's driven by servos that are only a little bit bigger than your thumb.

lol I don't see the point in spending $100 more for the same parts unless its for a competition or a system that has to be reliable. It's just a toy, so why does it need to be 100% reliable and a lot more expensive?

That's true. HK has really made the hobby available to a lot of people that are on a budget.
