Airplane: BlueBaby trainer

Crafter

This is one of my RC airplanes. It's called the bluebaby trainer, but I used pink foam instead of the plan's suggested type. I made it about 3 months ago and crashed it into a picnic table. Today I rebuilt the wing and made the skid under it so it can take off and land on the snow. Unfortunately, it was too windy for me to fly today but sometime soon I will fly it with the skid. Before this, it landed on it's underside without any wheels or landing gear.

OP
It's extremely overpowered. This plane has a 32" wingspan and a power system for a 42" wingspan aerobatic plane. That power system is putting out about 3x the amount of power necessary. If I go to full throttle, it wants to nose up and the wings start flapping like a large bird. That wooden rod wasn't part of the plans either. I had to put it on when I was flying and the wings folded up to a v-shape. When it did that, everybody at the field was laughing (me included.) That was a fun day. This thing has been crashed into the ground about 4 times, cartwheeled in the snow, nosedived in the snow, crashed into a picnic table, and had the wings flapping so much they broke. It's gone through a lot of trouble and I've only had to rebuild the wing once. I'm happy with it. Sometime soon I may even mount my gopro to it once I tune it out for the newer and lighter wing.
