I made this a while ago and decided I should upload it. The hole in the middle was for a rapid fire mod that I had to take out. The center X also used to glow red, but something happened to it causing either the leds to burn out or a wire to break.

hehe I knew that kind of comment would come up here. Unfortunately due to current situations (parents), I can only do stuff locally for people I already know. I've already made two of these for some friends. I still have to try it on PS3 controllers but I'm sure it's possible. Maybe in a couple years I could do them for others once I go to college, but until then I just have to wait.
I had fun making it. I also thought about taking out the primers from the shotgun shells and the smaller 9mm shells and replacing them with a flat LED to make it glow, but you know how life tends to get in the way. The cut slot in thew front was where I planned to put a switch for rapid fire but at the time I got so many other projects that made me forget about it.
